For New Zealand clinics

AI for clinics and allied health practices in New Zealand

In allied health, every hour of admin is an hour not treating — and admin expands to fill whatever you give it. Intake forms half-completed in the waiting room, ACC paperwork, the reminder calls, the patient who was meant to come back for a fourth session and stopped at two.

Sound familiar?

  • Intake forms started in the waiting room, eating clinical time
  • Patients dropping out of a treatment block partway through
  • ACC and referral paperwork accumulating
  • Reminder calls made between patients, or not at all

Why this is worth fixing

Incomplete treatment blocks are the quiet problem. It's worse for the patient and worse for the practice, and it usually happens because nothing followed up. A system that notices and reaches out at the right moment changes outcomes on both sides.

What we'd build for clinics

A starting blueprint for your clinic, assembled from the workflows that fit this trade. It isn't a fixed package — we shape it around how you actually work — but this is the shape it usually takes.

Self-serve booking & reminders

Customers book themselves into real availability, and reminders cut the phone-tag completely.

Now
endless phone-tag to book
With AI
books fill themselves

Client document intake

Clients are guided to send exactly the right documents, and the AI extracts and organises the data.

Now
endless email back-and-forth
With AI
clean data, first time

No-show reduction

Smart reminders and easy rescheduling claw back the appointments that used to just vanish.

Now
empty slots from no-shows
With AI
no-shows down sharply

Voice-to-task capture

Talk to your phone from the ute and jobs, materials and reminders file themselves in the right place.

Now
notes on scraps of paper
With AI
nothing falls through

What that's worth

Proof, not a pitch deck

We didn't just write about this — we built it

Quarvois our own platform, running a real New Zealand business every day: quoting, scheduling, invoicing, bank reconciliation and a full set of accounts, with an AI manager called Torq sitting across the whole thing. It runs on our own GPU hardware in New Zealand — so the data never leaves the country, and there's no per-token bill to a US API.

That's the difference between a consultancy that talks about AI and one that ships it. Everything on this page is something we've actually had to make work in production.

AI for clinics — common questions

Is this safe with patient information?

It has to be, and it's the first thing we design for. The Privacy Act 2020 and the Health Information Privacy Code set real obligations, and we build to them — including running models on our own hardware in New Zealand rather than sending patient data to an overseas API. We'd walk through exactly where your data sits before you commit to anything.

Does the AI make any clinical decisions?

No. Absolutely not, and we'd push back if you asked for it. It handles booking, reminders, recalls, intake capture, filing and correspondence. Clinical judgement stays with the clinician — the AI's job is to give you more time to exercise it.

Can it reduce patients dropping out of treatment blocks?

It notices when someone's scheduled course has stalled and prompts a follow-up at the point it still matters. That's better for outcomes and better for the practice, and it's exactly the kind of watching-and-noticing that never survives a busy clinic day.
