For New Zealand electricians

AI for electricians in New Zealand

Electrical work is scheduling under constant interruption. You've got a fit-out booked for the week, then a fault call comes in, then the builder on site changes the run and that's a variation nobody wrote down. By Friday the job's finished but the paperwork tells a different story than the work did.

Sound familiar?

  • Variations agreed verbally on site and never invoiced
  • A schedule that's obsolete by 10am on Monday
  • CoCs and ESRs that must be produced on demand
  • Prices from your wholesaler changing under your quotes

Why this is worth fixing

The expensive part isn't the interruption — it's the variation that never made it onto the invoice, and the certificate of compliance that took forty minutes to locate. Both are record-keeping problems, and record-keeping is where AI is genuinely, boringly good.

What we'd build for electricians

A starting blueprint for your electrical business, assembled from the workflows that fit this trade. It isn't a fixed package — we shape it around how you actually work — but this is the shape it usually takes.

Voice-to-task capture

Talk to your phone from the ute and jobs, materials and reminders file themselves in the right place.

Now

What that's worth

Proof, not a pitch deck

We didn't just write about this — we built it

Quarvois our own platform, running a real New Zealand business every day: quoting, scheduling, invoicing, bank reconciliation and a full set of accounts, with an AI manager called Torq sitting across the whole thing. It runs on our own GPU hardware in New Zealand — so the data never leaves the country, and there's no per-token bill to a US API.

That's the difference between a consultancy that talks about AI and one that ships it. Everything on this page is something we've actually had to make work in production.

AI for electricians — common questions

Can it capture variations before they get forgotten?

That's one of the highest-value things we build for electricians. You say what changed — voice note from the van is fine — and it's logged against the job with the extra materials and labour priced, ready to go onto the invoice. The variation stops being something you have to remember on Friday.

Does it work with my wholesaler's pricing?

It can. We've already built live supplier price syncing into our own product for a steel and fabrication business, so pricing from a trade portal flows into quotes automatically rather than being typed in from a PDF. Whether we can do it for your wholesaler depends on what they expose — that's one of the first things we'd check.

What about certificates of compliance?

Filed and findable. Each CoC and test record is attached to its job and property, so producing one on request is a search rather than an archaeology project. The certification decision stays with the registered person — we're automating the filing, not the sign-off.
